Para mí unos loafers son todo lo que necesitas para crear un look con inspiración masculina... Como los zapatos y la camisa ya eran bastante, no quise irme al extremo y por eso escogí usar un collar "choncho" (que en realidad es un cinturón) y labios color rosa, más fácil imposible!

For me, loafers are everything you need for a masculine-inspired look... Because the shoes and the shirt were already enough, I didn't want to go all the way for it so I chose to wear a chunky necklace (which is actually a belt) and pink lips, easy peasy!

Creo que Joan Smalls es una de las modelos más lindas y estilosas (ni siquiera sé si existe esa palabra en español pero ya saben de que hablo, vdd?? jeje) de la industria. Lo que a mi gusto fue la cereza del pastel en este outfit son sus labios color rosa-barbie... ¿a poco no se ve espectacular?

I think Joan Smalls is one of the most beautiful/stylish models out there in the fashion industry. With this picture she proves once again my motto when it comes to fashion: "Less is more". For me the finishing touch for the look are her barbie-pink lips, isn't she lovely?

Yo diría que el chaleco de mezclilla es una opción que no pueden dejar pasar para el verano, ¿no creen? No solamente proporciona una "capa" extra sin que nos veamos raras (sobre todo si viven en un lugar muuuy muuuy caluroso) sino que también es una excelente opción para completar un look. J Brand, Current/Elliot y Elizabeth and James son algunas marcas con excelente opciones en caso de que anden buscando uno. 

I would day that the denim vest is one item to consider for summer, don't you think? It gives you an extra layer to add without looking weird (specially if you live in a very hooot hooot place) and it is a great way to finish a look. Creo que esta tendencia va a estar polarizada entre los que la aman y los que la odian... Yo diría que soy de las amantes de los overoles ya que tengo uno desde que estaba en la universidad y que tengo que recuperar de entre las profundidades desconocidas de mi clóset. I think that this trend will have a lot of haters and lovers but very few people in between. I would say I'm a lover of it because I've had one overall since I was in college and I can't wait to recover it from the deepest-darkest places of my closet... So, what do you say?? Yay or Nay?? Espero que esta tendencia dure muchooo muchooo tiempo. Ya era hora de no tener que sufrir para verse bien, ¿no? La última vez que fui de compras me aseguré de traerme a casa el par perfecto (ya se los había mostrado aquí) que me sirviera para hacer ejercicio y para usar en otras ocasiones. ¿A ustedes les gusta esta tendencia o prefieren los tacones? En caso de que anden buscando el par perfecto les recomiendo los de la marca inglesa Superga ;)

I hope that this trend stays on the spot for a looong looong time. It was about time for us to give our feet a litte rest without compromising the style. The last time I went shopping I made sure to bring home the perfect pair (here's a pic in case you don't remember them) to exercise and to use in other occasions. What about you? Looking for the perfect backpack

Tengo algunos meses obsesionada con las mochilas y tengo que confesar que he sido bastante quisquillosa porque hasta hace poco que empecé a buscar en línea no había encontrado una que me pareciera suficientemente linda. En mi búsqueda encontré estas dos, la primera es de Madewell y además del tamaño perfecto, también tiene un color neutro hermoso para combinarla con cualquier cosa. La segunda, (aaaaayyyy!! la segundaaa!! ♥♥♥♥♥) es de Alexander Wang y estoy tan enamorada de ella que prometo amarla en lo próspero y en en lo adverso, en salud y en enfermedad todos los días de mi vida.... ¿Alguien de ustedes me quiere hacer un regalito? Esposo, ¿estás leyendo ésto? ;)

I've been obsessed with backpacks for a while now and I have to admit that I've been very picky, nothing I had seen so far was good enough until now when I started looking online and found these beauties. The first one from Madewell has the perfect size but most important it has the most beautiful neutral color. But the second one  (oooh the second one!!! ♥♥♥♥♥♥) is Alexander Wang and I'm in love with it that I promise to be its partner in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad, in joy as well as in sorrow... FIVE THINGS

Me inspiré en el post pasado para el del día de hoy ya que muchas de ustedes no sabían que soy la orgullosa mamá de un pequeñín. Creo que hay muchas mujeres que sacrifican el estilo en esta etapa de su vida ya que no tienen tanto tiempo/energía para invertir en sí mismas. Es por eso que elegí estos cinco elementos para ayudar a cualquier mamá que esté leyendo esto y necesite un Fashion Emergency con urgencia ¡¡Espero que les gusten!!

1. Bolsa Rebecca Minkoff: ¡¡Perfecta por su tamaño y estilo!! Ya no tendrás que volverte loca cambiando tus cosas de una bolsa a otra cada mañana, ésta es LA bolsa, no busques más!
2. Vestido negro One by Otte: el LBD es la prenda indispensable en cualquier guardarropa. Éste es bastante moderno para llevarlo casual con una fedora o con tacones para una cena con el esposo. 
3. Zapatos Steven: los wedges son el mejor tipo de zapato para cualquier mamá por ser muy cómodos y el color de éstos va con cualquier outfit, inclusive en invierno puedes llevarlos con medias.
4. Sandalias Madewell: son un must para el verano y en un color neutro para poderlas combinar facilmente. 
5. Blusa Equipment: usa esta blusa con unos jeans y tacones/tennis/sandalias/flats.... ¡¡Es una maravilla lo que una buena blusa blanca puede hacer por ti!!

I took some inspiration from last post because a lot of you didn't know I'm the proud mom of a toddler. I think that once a lot of women become moms, they forget their sense of style, maybe because they don't have more time or energy to think in themselves.
