Fighting the cold

Not that we are experiencing anything near to the Polar Vortex in the States and Canada but I thought a little inspiration to bury ourselves in layers of clothes could be useful via one of my favorite photographers out there: The Sartorialist.

No que estemos viviendo algo parecido al Vortex Polar que afectó (afecta todavía??) a los Estados Unidos y Canadá, pero nunca está demás un poco de inspiración para enterrarnos en capas de ropa, ¿no? Las fotos son de uno de mis fotógrafos favoritos: The Sartorialist.

Can't stop...

I just can't stop wearing sneakers! I hope this trend never ends.. What about you?? Can you stop wearing them??

Como dice el título de este post, simplemente no puedo dejar de usar sneakers (o tenis como les decimos en México). Espero que esta tendencia dure y dure y dure... ¿Y ustedes? ¿Ya tuvieron suficiente o no pueden dejar de usarlos?

Trend Spotting: Birkenstock

I have been meaning to ask you for a while for a while, but since I was absent I kind of forgot, sorry!!! Anyways... how do you feel about this trend?? I kind of like it for weekends or running errands, don't you think??  I have a pair of these but not as stylish and to be honest I think that to pull this look off you need a black pair... Desde hace un tiempo les quería preguntar sobre esta tendencia pero como andaba pérdida se me olvidó, perdón!! En fin, ¿qué les parece eso de usar Birkenstocks? A mi me gusta como para los fines de semana o para hacer "mandaditos" sin importancia, ¿a poco no? Yo tengo un par de estos mmm zapatos?? sandalias?? :/ pero sinceramente creo que para verse así de bien como las chicas de las fotos tienen que ser en color negro.. ¿Ustedes qué creen?¿Tienen de éstos en su clóset? Oh là là!!! Is it just me or this trend reminds you of Paris for some reason?? It's just amazing how a little detail can change the mood of the whole outfit and I bet you have one of those somewhere in your closet.. I saw it the other day on WhoWhatWear and been using it ever since so I thought I should share it with you :) 

I'm so sorry for being so absent but I moved out of my old house so you can imagine all the time consuming that can be, anyways, I'm back and hope to post more often!! How have you been?? Give me an update in the comments!!!!

Oh là là!!! ¿Soy nada más yo o por alguna razón esta tendencia les recuerda a París? Es increíble como sólo un detallito el "mood" de un outfit pueda cambiar tanto, además les aseguro que todas ustedes tienen por ahí uno de éstos, aunque sea un paliacate!! Esta tendencia la vi en WhoWhatWear hace unos días y la he estado usando bastante así que decidí compartirla con ustedes :) 

Hablando de otras cosas, perdón por estar tan ausente pero me cambié de casa así que ya se podrán imaginar el tiempo que me tomó organizarme de nuevo, pero ya estoy de regreso y espero postear más seguido... ¿Ustedes cómo han estado? ¡Cuéntenme en los comentarios!

Streetstyle: Loafers

Si se consideran entre mis lindas y fieles lectoras ya deben saber mi obsesión con todo lo que tenga inspiración o un toque masculino así que no les sorprenderá en nada saber cuánto amo mis nuevos loafers (pronto habrá fotos!!) Pero mientras cuéntenme ¿les gustan o les parecen muy masculinos para su gusto?  En caso de que estén algo indecisas denle otra miradita a las fotos y piénsenlo de nuevo ;) Peeeero, si son como yo vayan directo a checar estos de Charles Philip porque seguro les encantan!!

You should already know my obsession with all things boyish, so it won't be a surprise for you to know I much I love my new loafers (pics coming soon!!). Overalls

Creo que esta tendencia va a estar polarizada entre los que la aman y los que la odian... Yo diría que soy de las amantes de los overoles ya que tengo uno desde que estaba en la universidad y que tengo que recuperar de entre las profundidades desconocidas de mi clóset. Y ustedes que dicen, ¿La aman o la odian? ¿La dejan en los 90´s o la traen de regreso? Si son como yo, échenle una miradita al que encontré de la marca Sea en forma de vestido.

I think that this trend will have a lot of haters and lovers but very few people in between. I would say I'm a lover of it because I've had one overall since I was in college and I can't wait to recover it from the deepest-darkest places of my closet... So, what do you say?? Yay or Nay?? If you go for the Yay, take a look at the one the brand Sea has in a lovely dress form..
